A Girl & Her Shoes

I'm in love with Ava's new shoes. So cute!

But it took a lot of work to hunt them down! Ava's old shoes have been tight for a little while and I have been keeping my eye's open for the right shoe at the right price for a while now with no luck. Finally, I decided her old shoes were just too small and that it was time to stop waiting for a good deal and just get her into some shoes that fit properly!

So we made a day of shoe shopping. For only being 22 months, she had quite the opinions. Some of the shoes, she pushed away and said loudly, "don't like!" The ones she said were "cute" were neon orange and although very cute and trendy, didn't match a single outfit in her closet.

I always knew one day, as pay back for all the shopping grief I probably gave my mother, I would have a girl that was particular about buying clothes/shoes, but I didn't think it would come so soon!

Three shoe stores later, here is what we got:

I have to admit, it was really nice to get her foot measured by a professional instead of shoving on a bunch of shoes off the clearance rack and trying to figure out were her toes were hitting. $20 for two pairs shoes might be a bit steep but today it was well worth it and we are both loving her cute new shoes!
