Last weekend we took Ava to see the aquarium. She LOVED it.
The sand table was a huge hit. I do not envy the employee who gets to clean up all the sand at the end of the day.
The fish were a huge hit too. She ran from tank to tank yelling "fishy! fishy!" She was also very enthusiastic to participate in the tank where they let you pet the fish.
How do you like our fishy faces? Pretty cute huh?
We could not get her away from this tunnel. It might have been the highlight of the trip.
These were pretty friendly sea rays. They would come and hover over where Ava would put her hand on the glass. Which was really exciting for Ava. When one of the sea rays was just hanging out on the bottom, she started screaming, "UP! UP! UP!" She really wanted that sea ray to come up to where her hand was like the other sea rays did.
How cute are these two?
All in all, we had a great trip and a good time together as a family! And not surprisingly, Ava now loves all things fishy!
