Saturday morning, we headed to our favorite park to get a good workout in. When we arrived, we were surprised to find the Turkey Creek Festival going on. I still got my workout in but pretty sure I null and voided the benefits with that hot dog and ice cream cone :) Ava had fun playing on the playground while we were there. The swings, however, remains her favorite.
Our first strawberry harvest! I am pretty proud that my plants are still alive (I have a tendency to kill plants). At one point the leaves all started turning brown, but somehow it pulled through. Not sure why the berries are so small, but they were tasty!
Fun outside! Now that the weather has warmed up, we are getting outside more which is just what this energetic girl needs! I got her some sidewalk chalk, which she has really been enjoying. On this particular day, she colored her hands, then her face blue (the picture doesn't do it justice) and then said "Look mommy! I'm a smurf!" Besides sidewalk chalk, her other favorite outside adventures include "digging for treasure" and putting together rock collections. Let's just say baths have become a nightly routine around here.

ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your strawberry plant! We have wild strawberry patches all over our backyard, so you can see tiny red fruit before they get mowed over every few weeks.
