The Longmore family partied hard this Christmas Eve.
We went window shopping at the plaza, then headed over to Gates BBQ to get our Christmas dinner: ribs, baked beans and french fries. Yummy!

After dinner we loaded into the car to look at the lights on the plaza and ward parkway.
Ava was super sleepy but she was WAY too excited to fall asleep. The whole drive we heard little exclamations of "tree! tree!" and "lights! lights!"
Back at home, we pulled out some egg nog and opened our Christmas Eve presents. We all get new pajamas and Ava gets a new ornament.

Our new pajamas. This is our first attempt using the timer function on our camera. I have a goofy look on my face because I am trying to convince Ava to look at the camera and smile. Obviously, I haven't nailed the art of self portraiture yet!
Then we read the Christmas story, drank more egg nog, and went to bed so Santa could come!
