Lately....

Life lately has been all about this adorable little peanut: 

We are THRILLED to be adding another little one to our family!  

The rest of life has kind of taken a backseat to making this little one.  I wasn't surprised at all when the morning sickness hit.  I was pretty sick with Ava too, so I anticipated it would happen again.   The good news is that its starting to let up.  I'm still queasy all the time and can't stand the sight of most food, but I can at least function all right.   As a result, we kept Thanksgiving and Christmas pretty low key and I didn't manage to get many pictures, but here is a look at the past couple of months:

For our anniversary in November, I wrapped up and gave Ryan this onesie: 

Thanksgiving Dinner.  It was our first time hosting.  I apple brined the turkey and Ryan smoked it.  Turned out AMAZING... although it took a lot longer than we thought it would.

Getting our Christmas tree! 

We also had a wonderful early Christmas together here in KC and a wonderful Christmas with family back in Idaho... none of which has photographic evidence.   But it was lovely nonetheless.
